The primary motivation behind the design of this 1970’s apartment refurbishment in Vaucluse was, of course, the amazing view. A series of linear elements were developed that oriented towards the east facing windows, including a large backlit element that folded from the roof to the wall, to a bench; simultaneously framing the view and housing the electronics and lighting.
